IR TECH: THE LABORATORY
The R&D labs have always been a mark of distinction of RHOSS - IR TECH. The Codroipo Plant is well known for having one of the most sophisticated test laboratories in Europe and worldwide to test refrigerating equipment, capable to test even 1500 kW machines. Starting from early 2009 also the
most advanced test lab in Europe is operating to test radiating systems; it was set up in cooperation of the Institute of Technical Physics of the University of Padua. This laboratory can reproduce any conditions that may occur during operation of a radiating system both in winter and summer.
Each individual portion of the lab surface can be kept at a different temperature to perfectly simulate the temperature trend over time within a room, both air temperature and any surface temperature, sun-irradiated windows included.
Thanks to this unique, peculiar feature,
RHOSS – IR TECH can not only test its own radiating products according to current standards and rules, but also test the products behaviour as operating parameters vary in the course of a year.
In particular, it can generate performance curves as either the radiating system surface temperature changes or the temperature of any room-wall changes (average radiating temperature) and at the same time check their compliance to standard and rules on environmental welfare.
The laboratory was also designed for different configurations of renewal air inlet from ceiling, wall and floor.
